Hey Actifitters,
The main activity yesterday was of course to pick up Kaia from the veterinary hospital. They called me mid-morning (I was still sleeping obviously) to let me know she had a normal night and was ready to go home. When I got there, she was clearly still affected by anesthesia but she somehow managed to get in the car. Once at home, getting out of the car was a very different story. I even set up a ramp, but she didn't like that idea either. She tried a few times with no luck.
In the end, she did exactly what she wasn't supposed to and jumped over the ramp. But she was too weak, missed and just slid down the ramp! Luckily I think the anesthesia prevented her from feeling the pain. But that was exhausting and she needed a break right there on the garage floor.
With a few more breaks, we made it to the deck, just before the few steps to get in the house. She had another long break there. The good thing is the weather was great, so I didn't mind staying with her.
Le Chat was observing us, kinda wondering what was going on.
Eventually we made it inside. Time for Kaia to rest, and it wasn't long before she was fast asleep, halfway on the bed!
I took this opportunity for my espressos on the deck. The weather was still very nice.
By solidarity or maybe laziness, Le Chat was pretending to also be under anesthesia!
And that was about it, the rest of the day was mostly about keeping an eye on Kaia and making sure she didn't move. Sorry for a Kaia-centric report, but that was really the main thing yesterday and I have a feeling it will be the same for some time. That also means I doubt I'll be able to stay in #poprzeczka competition much longer.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
