Hi @jayna! I have to agree-we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet!
The culprit was a slug! I've never figured out why they are around; they are gross, slimy, cold should you step on one and just yucky! Their purpose? I've no idea! Nonetheless, they are here usually in large quantities.
