As I mentioned in last night’s post, I was hoping for a trip to the bay. Turns out-that’s what we did! But…..first things first. After sleeping in just a little, we got up and had a dunk in the hot tub planned it was peaceful-it even misted a little rain at first. The birds were singing-it was lovely.
Then after a few things that needed doing, we set out for the bay and Boulevard Park. There was some kind of sailboat gathering happening, although at first glance, they really look like toy sailboats!
We heard music with a driving beat long before we descended into the park. We were greeted with a scene of what looked like total party chaos!
We had stumbled into the ‘Holi Festival’. Not knowing what it was, I asked Grok.

Afterwards, we stopped at Lowe’s looking for some metal @silvertop needed. He didn’t find what he was looking for, but I walked away with two houseplants and this cool kitty that houses an air plant on its back. 😸
