Cars are nice-aren’t they? So many varieties and styles. I like my little Zuki as she gets me to where I need to go dependably and economically! She’s got air conditioning, is a 6 speed manual and has a decent stereo.
I ran across this at a mall once; it made me chuckle. 🤭
And, of course, there’s always the old workhorse-the Power Wagon.
Trains bring a bit of romance and nostalgia.
Of course diesel engines can be considered the workhorse of trains.
Which brings us to planes. Now they are much faster at getting from place to place for sure! 😎
Just what is that, I asked myself? I’d gotten off of work and went to the post office to pick up the clinic mail and to drop off a couple of letters. I heard a sound and stopped to try to locate where it was coming from. I’d about given up, when I finally found it!
I’m to understand you are not supposed to fly acrobatics over a residential area, however, I’m fairly certain it was over open farmland. I was excited to witness it and be able to capture the video. Actually, I captured about 6 videos of him doing various twists and turns.
Work was a fairly quiet day. The doc stopped by with his dad to fix the ‘sink hole! That’s under the entryway. I’m guessing the flood in 2021, undermined the dirt and the tile was put down on plywood (should have been cement board-what was the contractor thinking?!) and with our wet environment, it rotted the plywood away.
Repairs are to commence over the weekend.
Tomorrow will be a busy day but it is Friday-so here’s to it passing quickly! 😎👍
