Happy Tuesday everybody!
My day began at ladies Bible study. We continued on with the study in Romans. It was a good study in chapter 12 along with a few bunny trails, but good as always. π
It was on my way to Bible study when I saw them! What you ask? Well, if youβve read any of my recent posts, you know Iβve been on the hunt. You know-for orange globes, aka pumpkins! π The farm stand that I buy sweet corn from, which is on the way to town, had a load of pumpkins today! I stopped on the way home and purchased two of them. π
That was the smaller of the two. Thus, my collection has started for the year. Iβm up to 4 total. I never have a specific number in mind. I just keep looking until one day-it seems Iβve enough. Iβll stop searching at that point. πππ
Next month (October) Stoney Ridge Farm has its annual country fall festival with their massive pumpkin fields taking front and center. Thereβs tons of pumpkins to choose from-both in crates and various displays to still out in the field on the vine! Hereβs a picture from last yearβs festivities!
Hereβs another picture of my currently blooming fall mum. It is simply beautiful!
Since itβs September first, I also pulled out my fall decorations for my deaconβs bench.

NKJV Romans 12:9-21
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, βVengeance is Mine, I will repay,β says the Lord. Therefore
βIf your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.β
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
