Tuesday had arrived and the day to head to the fair. However first, a stop at the dentist for a post-op appointment. All looks good, so off @silvertop and myself went!
We always park in front of one of his old coworkers home and hoof it to the fair. I’d purchased our tickets last night online, so we went in the pre-paid gate.
Tonight’s post is about the horses and a mule or two. There’s always a draft horse show, however somehow we missed it! We did go through the barn though.
Those guys are huge! I know some folks do ride them but honestly, I’d need a stepladder to get on one!
Gearing up for that show we missed.
Here’s one of the wagons they pull. I’d enjoy riding on one.
In that same barn, they also have a couple of mules. Not sure why they are in with the draft horses though.
There’s always lots of informative displays as well. Did you know that a human has 206 bones and a horse 205? I didn’t!
There were lots of cows as well. Mama and baby…..

As always, there’s so much to see at the fair. Stay tuned for part two in the next day or so.

Tomorrow sees me heading back to work. Last I looked, we were totally booked for the day. I’m sure it’ll be busy! 😅
