Wednesday is always busy! It’s packed with dealing with things that crept up while I was gone, verifying insurance for the day’s appointments, and finishing any jobs left over from the previous week. Not to mention usually having to unearth the myriad of stuff that somehow covers the entire surface of my desk! How is one supposed to work in that anyway?! Today was no different.
I had all the above to deal with and then…….
Marissa arrived to work with her right leg in an ace bandage. Turns out she’d been doing an exercise-step up on a stair; step down and repeat. Then she heard a loud pop and was down for the count. Sounds like to me she may have popped her Achilles tendon. I did that years ago swing dancing. It’s one of those things that doesn’t go away on its own!’ I talked her in to going and seeing about it, but she wouldn’t go until the end of her shift. I was grateful, for it was just her and myself on the busiest day of the week, but I know I left mine go for a few days and it was pretty miserable. I’m waiting for a text or call just what the doctor’s take is on it. It wouldn’t surprise me if she’s not out for awhile.
Such is life! 😏
