The rain is over for the time being. The nice thing is that the temperatures are moderate as well. I’m sure somewhere along the line, the heat will catch up with us, but for now, I’m hopeful it will be delayed.
I took this next picture yesterday which got me looking through the archives for more barns.
There’s just something about them that appeals to me. All other barn photos will be from the archives.
Today was busy at work. Once again, despite being pretty much on time, the new doc got behind late in the day. I believe a contact lens follow up was the culprit. 😏
I’m working on coming up with a solution to the late afternoon time thing. I’ve got a couple ideas but need to make sure they’re viable before putting them into practice.
We got a video just a little while ago from baby granddaughter Olivia! She’s been walking with a push cart toy and very well, but just a little while ago, she took her first multiple steps without it! She’s not yet a year old! So cute! She’s growing too fast, lol!
The rain from yesterday looked pretty on the leaves. I shared some pics yesterday, but here’s one I didn’t.
The lilac bush isn’t as pretty as the Japanese maple is, but it’s still nice.
Sumas Mountain was mostly hidden yesterday in the gloomy skies.
There’s water and the skies are just about the same color.
Tomorrow is a non-doctor day. Marissa will be there to run inference with the phone and walk in traffic. Perhaps I can work on the doctor credentialing stuff amongst other things that need doing.

Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
