Our day began at church. Church was awesome as usual- a series on Peter. π
It was another overnight rainstorm which once again, left everything dripping. Check out this next photo where you can see the reflection of the surrounding trees in the surface of the droplet. Pretty cool!
After church we headed to the clinic to get water for the hot tub. I had asked the doc if we could and offered to pay for it. He wouldnβt let me pay and said just to fill up. We appreciate it!
It took 2 trips total to fill the tub. Now all we need to do is just get it heated and get the bit of debris thatβs sunk to the bottom, out. Looking forward to our first soak! π
In the time waiting for the water bladder to dump into the tub, I went to visit my queen digitalis. She is in bloom!
Believe it or not, she is between 6-7 feet tall! Iβm going to drag @silvertop to her tomorrow to do a scale picture so you can see! Her court is also beginning to bloom. I call her a queen and her court as she is the biggest plant of the group. The other ones surround her giving the impression of a queen with her court. π
We get to see baby granddaughter Olivia here in a couple of weeks! Iβm excited to see her and can barely wait! It will give her mom and dad perhaps a little break for caring for her 24/7.
Thatβs gonna be it for today. Iβm headed up the mountain to visit my widowed friend tomorrow. It will be a lovely visit.
