My day began at ladies Bible study-a continuation of the Book of Romans. It’s always good-we’re in chapter 6 now.
When that was over, it was off to the post office to pick up the clinic mail. I’d grabbed a huge batch on Friday on my way home and was surprised to see another such batch today. Lots to process for me! 🙄
With all of the construction in Everson, the dust is out of control! Add tree pollen and birdie poo to the mix-well let’s just say the car needed a bath! Next stop-the car wash!
After Zuki got all dolled up, I set out for home. It’s been a beautifully sunny 🌞 day here with a moderate breeze and warm temperatures. The epitome of a perfect summer day in the Pacific Northwest! 😎
I needed to roast some coffee, so that was what I started to do when @silvertop informed me we had a problem with the small pantry I’d ordered from Wayfair. The two sides of the unit were cracked in shipping. 25 minutes later, they have ordered the two sides replacements which is nice! Trying to get all that back in the box it came in-well you know how that goes…..it NEVER fits! See @silvertop’s post for pictures and details.
Coffee roasted; laundry done; both indoor greenhouse and outdoor garden watered-I think I might just be done for today!
Since it is Cinco De Mayo, we will have chicken fajitas with homemade salsa for dinner! Yummy! 😋
Tomorrow is work-busy and booked as it seems we always are. The doc is working Wednesday and Thursday with fully booked days and then no doc on Friday. Friday will be another me, myself and I day. I do so love that type of day! I can get so much admin stuff done when I’m left alone!

BSB Romans 6:1-11
What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection. We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. For anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God. So you too must count yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
