Really Cot-you might want to let go of dad’s shirt! This afternoon, we were all on the couch, when Cot stretched and exposed all of those razor sharp claws you see in that first picture! 🙀 I can tell you from experience, you just don’t play with those, lol!
My morning began at ladies Bible study in continuation of the study of Romans. Interestingly, what we studied, including other scripture references, was spot on for Holy Week and for this coming Resurrection Day. Once the study concluded, I headed to the library, post office and the grocery store. On the way home from those, I stopped at the feed store hoping to find a couple flowers to plant at the base of the pole for my bird feeders.
I had purchased this nice solar powered lighted bird feeder and was waiting for the hummingbird feeder to arrive as the hook needed balance. Here’s the solar powered bird feeder.
I had purchased the hummingbird feeder on Saturday through Amazon as I was shopping in Walmart. It was late arriving, so everything had to wait until today. This very pretty feeder is made of faceted glass and is red in color.

I purchased just two flowers as there’s not much room in the block around the pole.

I have a squirrel guard just in case Mr. Squirrel shows up later on. I’ve not seen him yet this year, but something tells me his little nose will lead him to my feeder! Not happening! 🐿️
Tomorrow sees me headed for the start of a busy workweek. The blessing is that on Thursday, it’s a me, myself and I day. Hoping for a quiet one!

When Jesus returned to the temple courts and began to teach, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to Him. “By what authority are You doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave You this authority?”
“I will also ask you one question,” Jesus replied, “and if you answer Me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. What was the source of John’s baptism? Was it from heaven or from men?”
They deliberated among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will ask, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From men,’ we are afraid of the people, for they all regard John as a prophet.” So they answered, “We do not know.”
And Jesus replied, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
