Happy Friday Eve everybody! I’m happy to see Friday arrive as it was so busy this afternoon, all I really wanted to do was come home and sleep! 😴 Alas, I dragged myself to the stationary bike for just a 20 minute session as some movement is better than none!
The morning was slow as the 3 patients I mentioned yesterday that were back to back and special extra paperwork and whatnot, ended up being ‘no shows’. The afternoon was however, a completely different story!
A gentleman with an eye emergency called, so we squeezed him in. While he was waiting because of other scheduled patients, a gal showed up for her afternoon appointment. Only problem-it was for March 5th instead! I kind of looked at my coworker and shrugged and said let’s get her in. The doc had originally spoken to her last week as she doesn’t speak English well. She speaks Russian as does the doc. Last week, we were fully booked for today and somehow he must have told her without checking the schedule to come in. Long and short-we got it all done but that left us with 2 appointments with technically no time left in the schedule for them! 😅
With the doc gone tomorrow, that leaves me with a me, myself and I day! I’m looking forward to it! I’ve got to shop for a new phone system as we are experiencing a lot of issues with the old right now. Shopping is fun! 😁
