Happy and blessed Sunday all!
My day began at church. The sermon and worship were awesome as usual. After church, Zuki was low on gas, so we headed to Lynden where Safeway is. Before filling up, we shopped for my weekly supply of lettuce, some milk for @silvertop, and some flavored seltzer water. Then we hit the gas station there and used points to reduce the cost per gallon by $.10. I’m for anyway to pay less at the pump! 😎
Then we headed home.
It’s been rainy again however the afternoon did clear a bit with the sun playing peek-a-boo. Now the clouds are back.
I did some house chores as did @silvertop. He went for a hike but I chose to ride the bike instead. I am not up for exposing myself to the elements just yet as remnants of the bug I had are still lingering. A relapse would not be good. 😏
Last summer, I purchased a couple of bee pot hangers-metal art if you will. This year, the Dollar Tree of all places, had some bigger metal art I could not resist at a really good price of $5 each.
Here’s the metal art family I’ve collected thus far. They will spend the summer out on the front porch.
At the Safeway store, they had metal art crickets. I didn’t look but I’m sure they were much more than my bee and frog! Still cute though.
Back during the flood, my coworker turned me on to electronic air diffusers. I looked on Amazon and found one I like and purchased it for work. I liked it so well, I purchased a second one for home except this one changes colors!
You can set it to oscillate through the various colors or set it on an orange flame color. You fill it with distilled water and essential oils.
Today, I’m running a mix of lemon and lavender. Yum! Smells nice! 😊
