The latter part of last year and the beginning of this year has seen the Pacific Northwest plagued with…………..not snow, but rain! Don’t get me wrong, and I know that snow has its miseries, but rainy day after rainy day combined with too warm of temperatures only really makes for a potentially miserable spring! If we don’t get some freezing temperatures for at least a month or more, the bugs will run off with us all! 🙀
As of this afternoon, we are under another coastal flood watch. I’ve begun watching the level of the Nooksack River again. At least with snow, the threat of flooding could be put off for a bit and maybe even be more insignificant simply because it wouldn’t all melt at once!
The snow would also give the landscape a bit of magic. Rather than being somewhat monochromatic.
So, in order to make myself feel better, I looked through the archives for some nice snow shots. These pictures are from 2021 to early 2025. We’ve not had any snow here just yet. Enjoy the pictures!
Today was spent going to church-a very lively and awesome sermon provided by the youth pastor, Pastor Caleb, and then coming home and doing things that needed doing. Nothing overly exciting after church! 🙃
Maybe we will get some snow here eventually! 🙏
That’s gonna be it for today. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

NKJV Genesis 1:4-10
And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
