Happy Caturday to everyone out there, especially our furry feline friends! Here’s what Cot and Cyle were up to today.
The day was rainy. I’m not one for getting soaked outdoors, so originally, I suggested to walk the mall. In the end, because the rain did hold off a bit, we ended up at Riverside Park. The skies were grey and a bit threatening, but I stuck a compact umbrella 🌂 in my purse and we braved the trail.
There was lots of color around, some pictures of which I’m saving for tomorrow’s post. This particular plant is growing where sometimes the river levels puts it under water. I don’t know what the plant is, but if it’s not a bog type plant, I’d love some of it in the yard. It’s simply golden!

As we were heading back to the car, I looked up and spied a large grouping of geese flying. I suppose they are be headed south, but their lead goose must be directionally challenged as they were actually headed north! Then I noticed they were flying as barn swallows do. Kind of odd! 🤪
