If I had 3 wishes, one of the things I might wish for is that people would commit to what they say they will do! If they say they’ll be there then they will be at the appointed time. If they say they’ll help, then they will help with a cheerful heart. This list could go on, but you get the idea. Why is follow through so hard?
Gosh-that leaves 2 wishes! Another wish is that I had more time to accomplish what needs doing! Do you remember when you were a kid-just how it took FOREVER for your birthday or Christmas to come along? Now imagine if time would drag its feet like that and then you tackled the things you need to do, how it might actually work out? Perhaps we’d all end up with time to spare! Wouldn’t that be awesome? If anyone figures out how to do this, please let me know! 😁
Changing gears for just a second; do you know how many flowering plants species there are in the world? 400,000! That’s amazing when you think about it. Imagine them all gathered in one place! Seems like there might be a call for a lot of allergy meds! 😳😏
I’ve got a small, small cross section of them in this post with each one different. Such diverse petals!
So now going back to my final wish; riches would be nice but figure that’s not what I need. It’s back to another perspective on time-but from another angle. I want more time to stop and smell the roses so to speak. To do some of the things I want to do. Time to spend maybe doing nothing at all with my family- just being together. To stop putting off things that I would like to do for that rainy day or ‘when I retire’, because you just never know. Perhaps I’ve just had a hard week and am just tired, but one thing I never tire of seeing is the flowers!
