We had some errands to run today and being it was going to be another scorcher, opting for air conditioned stores seemed the logical thing to do!
First stop: Harbor Freight. We went there looking for tarps for @silvertop’s woodpiles. They were more costly than Amazon, so in the end, that’s where I ordered the appropriate sizes.
Second stop: My Nursery. I absolutely love going here as there’s always something to see! I had ‘plant dollars’ available which are expiring at the end of the month. So with that in mind, we stopped by looking to spend some of those dollars!
This store is NOT air conditioned for the obvious reason-it’s an open air sort of thing. They had some big industrial type fans blowing, which helped, but it was still hot. 🥵
We went into one of the plant rooms to discover this:
Being as we are all about coffee, how could I resist?!
All those plants are coffee plants that are in front of me in the picture. I selected a robust plant and then spied a variegated spider plant I needed. I had my treasures so we continued to look around.
This nursery has everything you can imagine and even some you can’t! I focused on metal art for today. If I had deep pockets…….
I really like this peacock!
Or maybe I’d get a rooster or two!

My purchases used half of my plant dollars, so I’ve got a potential round for another trip! There was a really nice bee tall ceramic coffee cup with a nice tight fitting lid. That should just about do it. 😁
