Yep-it’s Tuesday all day! It’s also my ‘Sunday’ as tomorrow is my Monday’ for work. The good news? My workweek is only 3 days long! However, it’s always too full of patients, jobs, and managerial tasks that need to be taken care of. It’s like trying to do 40 hours a week in 3 days. Someday-and soon, I hope this overloaded situation will be resolved. Until then, I’ll just keep plugging along.
My first two pictures are left over flower pics from our Boulevard Park excursion on Sunday.
Beautiful Irises!
Today began with ladies Bible study. It was a good study on authority in Jesus and our roles in the Body of Christ.
Afterwards, I came home to get the faucet return to Amazon and @silvertop, and made a run to Lynden to drop it off at a UPS drop off point. Then, we went to the local hardware store to get a couple of fittings that he would need to hook the faucet up with. Once that was done, a freebie at Starbucks and then home.
I texted Jan to see if she wanted to come along. She said yes, so we met up and headed out.
@actifit-lamb and Pepe came along. She jumped out of my daypack and ran over to a trailer up at the lumber mill area, to sit on a partially cut log. Pepe hopped out of his backpack and joined her for a quick photo op.
Pepe then hopped away to the big log where @silvertop was standing. See his post for that photo. 🐸
On the way back down from the off grid cabin, the side of the trail is just loaded with Thimble Berry bushes. I stopped to get a blossom photo, but got more than just the flower!
As I stood there taking pictures, I realized the bushes were buzzing! There were lots of bees everywhere! It made sense since our neighbor’s beehives were just down the way from where we were.
I even found another visitor hanging out.
Theses little white flowers produce a red thimble-like berry that tastes lovely. Typically, they are ripe in June and you eat them as soon as they are, for if there’s not much rain when they are ready, they will soon dry up! Great for grazing as you hike!
While continuing on, Jan spotted another visitor hanging out.
This little tree frog was in full sunlight, which made me wonder if he was even alive! I’ve not known of frogs doing that. I moved in and provided shade for this next shot.
The leaves seem to glow! After this, I touched Mr. Frog to see if he was in fact still alive. He was, so I nudged him and he hopped further into the foliage where the sun wasn’t directly on him. Pepe thanked me for saving his fellow frog brother!
I had a dragonfly in my sights, but he flew before I could get the picture! 🙄
That’s gonna be it for this Tuesday. Take care as always and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌎🙏

NKJV Psalm 27:4-5
One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
