It would be Cyle’s birthday! 🎂 He will be 13 years old! This picture is one of my many favorites of him.
Our day was a bit convoluted. First, we went to get propane for the coffee roasters. Afterwards, we set out to take an Amazon return to Bellingham.
In the process of this, we began searching for a new push type lawnmower. If you’ve read any of @silvertop’s posts lately, you know ours has given up the ghost! First stop: Lowe’s. Nothing worth noting there except a lovely Cane plant that I ended up not getting as it’s harmful to cats if they consume it. Their garden center was however lovely.
A type of white dogwood tree with variegated leaves. I was intrigued by that as I’ve never seen a dogwood with leaves like these.

As you can tell, the sun was shining brightly with no clouds anywhere! I saw 74 degrees on the car’s dashboard. It’s the nicest day we’ve had in a long, long time! 😎👍
Off to Walmart to see if the lawnmower they had was better priced than Lowe’s. Turns out it was but the motor size of it was smaller. ☹️ Looks like the one from Amazon turns out to be the winner! It should arrive early next month.
In the meantime, our kitchen faucet is leaking. It’s washer-less, so no repairing it. I found a nice one-once again on Amazon, so I’ve ordered that as well. Now let’s see-our coffee espresso machine broke earlier this week and I’ve replaced that. Add the lawnmower and the sink faucet-well, they say things come in 3’s, so I hope we’re done now! 😜

I’m seeing a little more bee activity around, but it seems to me that there aren’t the normal amounts. Still watching and observing.
That’s gonna do it for today. Tomorrow is Sunday, the best day of the week. I’m looking forward to Pastor Kyle’s sermon!
