The day began with a couple short household tasks and then I was off to Bible study via the post office first. Bible study was good, focusing on our authority given by Jesus. I did leave early as I had to meet up with @silvertop to head back to Costco to get another package of the mat tiles we needed. We also had to get him a couple things for his chainsaw, which with the distance from home, pretty much ate up the afternoon. Tuesday is my mental day to get ready to go back to work on Wednesday, so I usually try to stay closer to home. I originally had gardening plans, but they’ve been put off to next weekend.
Speaking of gardening, have any of you noticed the lack of bees?🐝. They just aren’t around, except up at the trailhead where my neighbor has a couple hives he’s keeping. I’m curious about other areas whether in my country or around the world. Please leave your observations in the comments and from where you hail so I can see how it all maps out.
Yesterday, @silvertop called me outside where he was offloading the wood rounds he’d cut as he found some unexpected ‘shrooms! They have been very scarce this spring thus far, so of course, I went out to take some pictures. Enjoy!
Theses were all clustered close together. That was it for the new, so I dug back through the archives for some older pics of more ‘shrooms. Enjoy!
That’s it for today. Tomorrow begins my workweek. I’m not sure I’ll have any help tomorrow, and already know I won’t on Thursday or Friday. The doc seriously needs to hire someone dependable!!
Take care as always and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌎🙏

NKJV 1 Corinthians 13:1-13
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
