Hi everybody and thanks for stopping by!
It was a good and busy day today at the clinic. Even though we had 3 folks cancel, there was no lack of work. It made the day go swiftly!
After errands, I came home to enjoy a coffee in the air conditioning. After waiting a bit for it to cool off outside, we headed out.
It was muggy and a bit on the warm side. A little breeze was blowing, but when we hit the Upper Trail, you could have cut the sir with a knife! No breeze!! We stopped at the first bench just inside the start of Bear Hollow. @actifit-lamb, Wellington, and Windsor all jumped out to relax on the bench.
I signed the journal and as I was returning it to its box, Windsor jumped from the bench to the box and situated herself there.
They were all having a good time.
We didn’t go to much further into Near Hollow as we needed to turn back. We were going to have to pass the property next door to us where the neighbor who moved to Colorado. The daughter who was supposed to have left, but hasn’t, had friends who have this aggressive pitbull. I didn’t want to go by after dark. If it was going to attack, I wanted to be able to see to defend ourselves. Darkness would have made that hard.
Anyway, coming back down, I got the shot of the clouds you see behind the Fitbit stats. It was like they were glowing! And then, I caught this just before the sun slipped beyond the horizon.
All in all, a pretty hike!
That’s gonna be it for now. Keep on @actifit steppin’! 😎👣👍🥰🐑
