11,200 steps and only water and sand

First of all, I would like to introduce you to a new user, @lenaceae. She is a budding forester from the Philippines and the sister of my friend @reccandra. And if any of you have any influence on the Masters of Hive:

yesterday I swam from Playa Chiquita to Playa Sosua, just to see if there was anything to see.
But except for inanimate cliffs and hotel complexes on land, there is really only water and sand. I swam extra far out on the reef edge, but except for isolated small rocks there was nothing on the long stretch, not even fish.
Then it remains for me to explore the other direction, which I find but not so good, because there the water of the garbage pit and the river ends with its garbage into the sea.
But one thing I checked, the drybags really keep dry.

gestern bin ich mal von der Playa Chiquita zur Playa Sosua geschwommen, nur um zu sehen, ob es da was zu sehen gibt.
Aber außer unbelebten Klippen und Hotelanlagen an Land gibt es wirklich nur Wasser und Sand. Ich bin extra weit draußen an der Riffkante geschwommen, aber außer vereinzelten kleinen Felsen gab es auf der langen Strecke nichts, nicht mal Fische.
Dann bleibt mir noch die andere Richtung zu erkunden, was ich aber nicht so gut finde, da dort das Wasser der Müllgrube und der Fluss mit seinem Müll ins Meer endet.
Aber eines habe ich geprüft, die drybags halten wirklich trocken.
