Młody rozpoczął prowadzenie Wakacyjnego Dziennika Letnich Przygód i dwie strony już zapisane wczorajszymi wydarzeniami. Jak widać działo się! Ale rozpoczęło się od wizyty u lekarza, l4 do piątku, w piątek na kontrolę, zakaz basenów nawet w taki upał. Okazuje się, że kiedy przeziębione dziecko przebywa w upale, jego naczynia krwionośne w skórze mocno się rozszerzają, aby schłodzić organizm. W efekcie ułatwia to bakteriom i wirusom (które już namnażają się w gardle czy oskrzelach) głębszą penetrację, a zwiększony przepływ krwi przez zainfekowane obszary może ułatwić patogenom przedostanie się do krwiobiegu, co grozi rozniesieniem infekcji po całym organizmie i nagłym pogorszeniem stanu zdrowia.
Upał niemiłosierny, Bombel w domu na wagarach, bo też nie miałam serca go słać do przedszkola w taki gorąc, planowałam szczerze mówiąc ten basen ;)
Cóż więc robić. Biedna Dzidzia do Babci, a my myk na basen obok. Myślałam, że pójdziemy tylko na godzinkę, ale ciężko było wyjść z wody, taka była cudowna, i byliśmy dwie godziny. Bosko. Szkoda, że Młoda nie może.

Sick leave till Friday, then check-up. Swimming is forbidden, even in this heat. It turns out that when a child with a cold is exposed to heat, their blood vessels in the skin dilate dramatically to cool the body. Suddenly entering the cooler water of a pool, these vessels rapidly constrict, which rapidly forces blood back into the body and temporarily weakens local immunity, including in the respiratory tract. The heat is unbearable, Bombel is skipping preschool at home because I didn't have the heart to send him to preschool in such heat. Honestly, I was planning on going to the pool ;)
