Postanowiłam sobie, że tym razem okładką mojego posta nie będzie ai slop, i że zrobię koniecznie jakieś zdjęcie tego dnia. I wtedy na naszej barierce balkonowej przysiadł kruk. Widziałam to siedząc przy moim biurku domowym.
W pracy zrobiłam dużo, ale wciąż jestem do tyłu w porównaniu z moim rozplanowanym grafikiem postępu, więc musiałam posiedzieć tego wieczora skromne 4,5h. I od razu lepiej.
Po przedszkolu porwałam dzieci do fryzjera i uwaga, piechotą i rowerkiem. A jest to wyczyn nie lada, bo jest dość spory kawałek i co chwilę albo stromo pod górkę, albo stromo w dół. Bombel pod górę radził sobie wyśmienicie, a po zjazdach w dół bolały go ręce od hamowania i potem już orał bruzdy w asfalcie nogami. Tak czy siak wyprawa znakomita, nawet pomimo paskudnej pogody. Bombel piękniie ostrzyżony, a podczas jego strzyżenia my z Dzidzią na kanapie czytałyśmy sobie książeczkę. Przyjemna to była wyprawa i taki trochę reset dla przepracowanej głowy.
I decided that this time, the cover of my post wouldn't be a sloping hill, and that I would definitely take a picture of the day. And then a raven perched on our balcony railing. I saw it sitting at my desk at home.
I'd gotten a lot done at work, but I was still behind my planned progress schedule, so I had to sit down for a meager 4.5 hours that evening. And I immediately felt better.
After preschool, I took the kids to the hairdresser and, mind you, they walked and biked. This is no small feat, as it's quite a long way and there were constant steep climbs and descents. Bombel handled the climbs brilliantly, but after the descents, his arms ached from braking, and then he was digging furrows in the asphalt with his feet. Regardless, it was a fantastic trip, even despite the awful weather. Bombel got a beautiful haircut, and while he was getting his haircut, Baby and I sat on the couch reading a book. It was a pleasant trip and a bit of a reset for my overworked mind.
