Personally, I haven't written a letter to Santa Claus in many years. However, this year I communicated with him telepathically and the presents have already arrived: great, isn't it?
I didn't ask anything physical, but something very personal about life and my attitude towards it.
Because often we find ourselves in front of walls that seem insurmountable, like this ancient brick wall, and we "stand still", almost waiting for that wall to dematerialize...
... instead it's enough to widen your vision and, almost as if by magic, you can see the whole wonderful drawing...
... and you are in an ancient oseteria in one of the many wonderful Liguria's villages.
I'm not used to take pictures of what I eat, but today I did: a wonderful minestrone alla ligure, really tasty and appreciated, after a morning of walking on the hill of Santa Giulia, near the town of Lavagna!
I walked together with a local friend, who bravely braved the weather conditions and the slippery ground due to the intermittent rain.
My friend was keen to show me the ruin of this little church dedicated to St. Michael, which geographically is placed on the same "energy line" as other churches dedicated to the Saint, including the famous Mont Saint-Michel in France.

Back in Lavagna, I admired the always magnificent square in front of the cathedral, with these old colorful and decorated houses.
And here is the cathedral of Lavagna... in the coming days, I'll try to photographically document the interior (to the delight of @armandosodano, a true lover of art and architecture).
In the afternoon it started to rain incessantly and with more intensity... and it's still raining: will it be a wet Christmas, so a lucky Christmas?
Back home, I've been practicing piano...I'm writing this in anticipation of dearest @mipiano's question! 😜

Personalmente è da tanti anni che non scrivo la letterina a Babbo Natale. Tuttavia quest'anno ho comunicato con lui telepaticamente e i regali sono già arrivati: magnifico, vero?
Non ho chiesto nulla di fisico, ma qualcosa di molto personale inerente la vita e il mio atteggiamento verso di essa.
Perchè spesso ci si trova davanti a muri che sembrano insormontabili, come questo antico muro in mattoni, e si "rimane fermi", quasi in attesa che tale muro si smaterializzi...
... invece è sufficiente allargare la propria visione e, quasei come per magia, si riesce a vedere il meraviglioso disegno intero...
... e ci si trova in un antica oseteria in uno dei tanti meravigliosi paesini della Liguria.
Non sono solito fotografare ciò che mangio, ma oggi l'ho fatto: un magnifico minestrone alla ligure, davvero gustoso ed apprezzato, dopo una mattinata di cammino sulla collina di Santa Giulia, nel comune di Lavagna!
Ho camminato assieme ad una amica locale, che con coraggio ha sfidato le condizioni meteorologiche e il terreno scivoloso dovuto alla pioggia a intermittenza.
La mia amica ci ha tenuto a mostrarmi il rudere di questa piccola chiesetta dedicata a San Michele, che geograficamente è collocata sulla stessa linea "energetica" delle altre chiese dedicate al Santo, incluso il famoso Mont Saint-Michel in Francia.

Tornati a Lavagna, ho ammirato la sempre magnifica piazza di fronte alla cattedrale, con queste antiche case variopinte e decorate.
Ed ecco la cattedrale di Lavagna... nei prossimi giorni, proverò a documentarne fotograficamente gli interni (per la gioia di @armandosodano, vero appassionato di arte e architettura).
Nel pomeriggio ha cominciato a piovere incessantemente e con maggiore intensità... e sta tuttora piovendo: sarà un Natale bagnato, quindi nìun Natale fortunato?
Tornato a casa, ho praticato pianoforte... lo scrivo per anticipare la domanda della carissima @mipiano! 😜
