Early Bird Run!

My alarm clock rang at 4:30 AM this morning. The sun had not risen yet, but it was already a little light in the east. After a quick breakfast, I put on my running shoes and a little later I was on the road for a 10K run.

Today the virtual run "Early Bird Run" took place! Actually, I'm rather a night owl, so it was not easy for me to crawl out of the warm bed so early this morning.

Well, the run with empty streets was still a lot of fun. At noon I took a little nap, because the night had been quite short for me.

Mein Wecker klingelte heute früh um 4:30 Uhr. Die Sonne war noch nicht aufgegangen, aber es war schon ein wenig hell im Osten. Nach einem kleinen Frühstück, zog ich meine Laufschuhe an und wenig später war ich schon auf der Straße um einen 10 km Lauf zu machen.

Heute hat der virtuelle Lauf "Early Bird Run" stattgefunden! Eigentlich bin ich eher eine Nachteule, deshalb fiel es mir heute morgen nicht leicht so früh aus dem warmen Bett zu kriechen.

Nun gut, der Lauf bei menschenleeren Straßen hat mir dennoch viel Spaß gemacht. Zur Mittagszeit hab ich dann noch ein kleines Nickerchen gemacht, denn die Nacht war für mich doch recht kurz gewesen.
