Two bodies, one direction—
the older learning weight,
the younger learning trust.
No questions asked.
The road has already spoken.
Her back becomes shelter,
her spine a quiet promise:
you will arrive.
Here, strength wears no armor.
It leans forward.
It steadies itself
for someone else.
And in this closeness,
girlhood understands early—
that survival is often shared,
and love learns how to walk.
