Not all devotion walks upright.
Some crouch in silence,
ears heavy with the weight
of listening too deeply.
This one gazes upward—
as if the sky once promised
and forgot.
But he remembers.
In the folds of his brow,
there are echoes of waiting.
In his eyes—
a soft, unwavering storm
of wanting nothing
but to be near.
His love is loud
in its stillness.
A prayer in fur,
made flesh
and loyalty.
