Six months ago I undertook a joint path with other friends to rescue the traditions of plein air painting, a modality that we are losing, every day there are fewer artists who paint nature. For this we allocate a weekly day to do this activity, so we gather a group of creators of Cuban artist and dedicate days of study and learning in different places in Havana. At the moment we are in the city but we plan to travel to other provinces of the country, and later it is intended to make cultural exchanges with other countries, so that foreign artists enjoy a nice experience with our specialized accessories and us of their collaboration and advice in their countries. It is a beautiful project that offers the possibility of interacting with artists from all over the world in a disinterested and free way, and getting to know new places. Today painting’s presentation
Today I want to share with you another of my works as an outdoor painter or as Plein-Air is known worldwide.
It is done during a day of 2:30 hours of work without rest. It is a colonial facade of a building that has been decreed uninhabitable due to the deterioration of the construction, yet people still continue to live inside this dangerous place.
Located in the central corner of Prado and Colon. Due to its high visual interest and its colonial aesthetic worn out over the years, its columns keep the secrets of many families who lived there.
Step by step of the creative process from start to finish
- Oil/canvas format 55x 38 cm.
- It is a painting that is very simple but at the same time you have to look in that simplicity for a plastic richness in terms of proper use of the color palette that highlights its antiquity.
Back there you can see the art critic who accompanies me whenever she can and despite only being 7 years old she is already a very good fan of painting and does her little work too, her name is Sophia my daughter

Hola, tengan un lindo día y espero que la suerte y el amor los acompañen en las cosas que hacen a menudo, si porque cuando uno ama la profesión las horas pasan sin darnos cuenta. Siempre que se le agregue el ingredientes mágicos (pasión y amor) obtendremos buenos resultados en lo que hacemos.
Hace 6 meses atrás emprendí un camino conjunto con otros amigos de rescatar las tradiciones de pintar al aire libre, una modalidad que la estamos perdiendo, cada día son menos los artistas que pintan la naturaleza. Para ello destinamos un día semanalmente para hacer esta actividad, así nos reunimos un grupo de creadores de la plástica Cubana y le dedicamos jornadas de estudio y aprendizaje en diferentes lugares de La Habana. De momento estamos en la ciudad pero tenemos planificado viajar a otras provincias del país, y más adelante se pretende hacer intercambios culturales con otros países, de manera tal que artistas extranjeros disfruten de una linda experiencia con la accesoria especializada nuestra y nosotros de la colaboración y asesoría de ellos en sus países. Es un proyecto hermoso que brinda la posibilidad de interactuar con artistas de todo el mundo de manera desinteresada y gratuita, y conocer lugares nuevos. Presentación de la pintura de hoy
Hoy yo quiero compartir con ustedes otro de mis trabajos de pinturera al aire libre o como se le conoce mundialmente Plein-Air.
Está realizado durante una jornada de 2:30 horas de trabajo sin descanso. Se trata de una fachada colonial de un edificio que se ha decretado inhabitable por el deterioro de la construcción, aún así todavía continúan personas viviendo dentro de este peligroso lugar.
Ubicado en la céntrica esquina de Prado y Colon. Por su alto interés visual y su estética colonial desgastada por el paso de los años sus columnas guardan los secretos de muchas familias que vivieron ahí.
Paso a paso del proceso creativo de principio a fin
- Óleo/lienzo formato de 55x 38 cm.
- Es una pintura que es bien sencilla pero a su ves hay que buscar en esa simpleza una riqueza plástica en cuanto a utilización adecuada de la paleta de colores que resalte su antigüedad.
Ahi atrás pueden ver a la crítica de arte que me acompaña cada vez que puede y a pesar de sólo tener 7 años ya es muy buena aficionada a la pintura y hace sus trabajitos también
