If Linus Media Group can be hacked bypassing 2FA, most people going to be sittung ducks to hackers.

Wow, any exploit opportunity will be exploited by those desperate to exploit.
That is the unfortunate situation we have at hand. Google is somewhat at fault for not creating a good system to handle this type of hacks (these are not uncommon) and Linus Media Group should have taken better security measures. Ideally, I would prefer to see a world without black hat hackers. Unfortunately that is not the reality we live in. All we can do is take precautions.
