Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding areas!
Hope this week has been going well for you!
I like to spend my mornings in the Mom-Hooman's office — which we also call "the Pink Room" — because it is one the side of the house that gets the most sun in the winter months.
I have my own spot on a pink blanket by the window.
Of course, every now and then the Mom-Hooman suddenly looks up and declares "Look how cute the cat is!" and starts taking pictures!
Of course, I am happy to receive the adoration I feel I deserve... particularly now that I am having to give up some of my time for our new fur friend Smudge... and the Mom-Hooman is very good at creating "Glamour Shots" of me.

The Mom-Hooman thought we should also "get artsy" so one of the photos was also turned into a very class black-and-white portrait.
After a while, I lost interest and went to look out the window at the sunny day, instead. Actually, there was a bird sitting on the roof of the garage... that's what I was looking at!
Anyway, wanted to share those... because every now and then I like to get back to my "roots" of purely having a cat blog, without anything of the "deep and meaningful" editorializing.

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!
Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.
Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.
Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
