Rye River Coastal IPA for Beer Saturday

Rye River Again

I picked up some Rye River beers recently and did my weekly beer post on one of them last week and now I am back with another Rye River IPA to share with you beer loving gentlemen and ladies from around the globe. I mean who doesn't enjoy a cold refreshing IPA? Well mostly everybody who spends any time in this community does, that's for sure. It's always cool to see what beers are shared from around the world and with the explosion in popularity of IPAs and Craft beers, there are tens of thousands of different beers now from around the world, which is pretty cool.

Introducing Rye River Coastal IPA

As you can see this one pours a nice appealing golden colour. There is a distinctive note of citrus and pine emanating from this beer when you open the can. The taste and mouthfeel do not disappoint either, with tropical flavours to the fore and enough hoppiness to keep this hop lover happy.

Whenever I head away someplace on holidays these days, I like to try out the different IPAs on offer. I must say that Ireland packs a punch and delivers when it comes to IPAs in comparison to Spain, Portugal, Italy, but Australia and USA are well ahead and would be among the best IPA Beer destinations in my opinion.

Can Art

The can art works well for me and is built upon the black can that the brewery opts for. I don't think it would look as well against a standard silver coloured can, but against the black can it most certainly works in my opinion.

I really dig the can art in this. I can't say as though I really care for IPAs though. I like the darker stuff. Thanks for sharing this!

Nice one man, I must say now IPAs are about my favourite tipple, apart from Guinness..

To each his own I guess. There are a couple that I enjoy. That Elvis Juice from Brew Dog is some good stuff. Two Hearted Ale is good if you ever get to try it as well.

Oooooh, nice, Elvis Juice is quality!! Great shout..

Lookin' good. I can almost taste it. Plenty of IPA's in The Netherlands too. It's just that I'm in Portugal... ;^)

Ya certain countries are great for the IPAs, but Spain and Portugal don't tend to have any real choice or decent ones in my experience anyway..

I agree. There's plenty of other stuff that makes up for that though ( and I am not talking about alcohol here ) ;^)

If I get it, I am going for three times!

Ha ha, sure an auld friend like yourself can take it four or five times!

Man, I am jealous of all the cool beers you guys have access to in the UK and that side. When I visited my brother in the UK 2020, I drank so many different beers especially IPAs. Here, you need to actually find the brewery and buy directly from them as the stores only sell I think three craft breweries’ beers and thats it.

But this looks like another stunning beer! Love the black can and art. Maybe we will one day live in a world where we can taste along via your writing!

Cheers man!

Thanks man, appreciate you stopping by. Yes, we are pretty lucky with all of the choice here, Ireland and UK and USA all cater really well to the IPA drinker, some other countries not so much. Not sure why that it is? Hipster per capita rate perhaps!! Ha ha..

So true! But in South Africa, the dominant brewery, South African Brewery, produces easy-drinking lagers. It has been pumping them out for years now. The average beer drinker here does not gravitate to heavy alcohol bitter IPAs. Which is sad. But there are some breweries that offer awesome IPAs even Imperial IPAs.

Good stuff man, at least you have some options so if they're not too far away.

For sure! Could have been worse.
