Beer Saturday

It's here again folks. That's right, it's Saturday again. We know what that means here on hive. Those who like a cold beer on Saturday evening l, crack them open around the world, take a photo or two, and maybe tell a story.

This week I won't be having a beer myself, as I have an important golf competition in the morning and if there's one thing that I've learned over the years, it's that beer in the evening and golf in the morning do not co-exist! Especially for those little delicate shots around the green and putting too. In fact the driving and iron shots can become that bit harder too, so whenever I have a big competition, I steer clear of the beer the Saturday before, as the competitions are usually on Sunday mornings at 7am.

Rather than sit out a week of Beer Saturday though, I'll bring you on a whistle stop tour of some of my Saturday beers in recent weeks and months.

SLÁINTE

A fine selection of potions there from IPA to Stout, cider to lager, but my favorite beer Saturday in recent memory was definitely when I got a keg of Guinness to the house for my birthday last October, that was mighty altogether.
