Another week, another beer Saturday and it's an IPA for me this week and a damn fine one I must say!

I had a few of these this evening after a hard day's work painting our sitting room and changing out the light fittings.

The Info

Brewery: Beaverstown Brewing Company
ABV: 4.3%
Can: 330ml

Thoughts

This one was really easy drinking, and was just what the doctor ordered. The smell of rich fruity hops on opening was very inviting, and it was not a false advertisement, as the taste matched the smell. This was a lovely hoppy beer, with a great mouthfeel and finish.

It poured a nice hazy yellow colour with grapefruit and pineapple flavours coming through on tasting it.

The carbonation was solid, with a nice big head, which laced well.

I love Beavertown beers. The art alone makes them a treat even before you open them and they don't disappoint. I have a couple of their glasses and they are top notch

Ya big time man, they always hit the spot, proper tasty. Did those glasses fall into your pocket on a night out? Awful when that happens isn't it 😜

A couple of them might have ;O)

In fact I was visiting friends in Edinburgh who are quite proper and staying with them and managed to nab two without them even noticing! Hahah

Sick man, it sounds like a nice one! I'm doing beer saturday too but I diidn't join in on it this week, sadly. I just had boring old Heineken. To be fair though it's my favourite larger. The good ole reliable haha

Ya I recommend it man, tried it for the first time down in Dingle years ago and it's been a go to ever since.

You could still do a beer Saturday post on Heineken ya know, a few pics and a good drinking story and away ya go 👍

Big fan of Beavertwon beers - Neck oil being one of my go to drinking beers. Have to agree great can art too.
