Pint of the black stuff

And just like that it's February. Will someone please tell me where the feck the time is going. These days it passes like a whirlwind. A busy demanding job, three kids with tonnes of activities and a penchant for sport will do that to you I suppose!

Speaking of sport, what a weekend for the Gunners. After thumping Leeds 4-0 away, the pressure was back on Aston Villa and Man City to keep pace.

Luckily for Arsenal both failed royaly, Villa were beaten and City were in a commanding 2-0 lead, but crumbled to Spurs! The Spurs fans will have hated it too, as the result helped North London rivals Arsenal.

The good results didn't end their either. The team I manage, my son's U13 team also won their cup game.

So I had plenty of reason to celebrate with a nice big creamy pint of black lovliness.

I had a nice hunger on me too, so I also had this delicious beef dinner. Both were from Powers a local bar that do a great pint and lovely food.

The kids all had various types of chicken and chips and because I had a €30 voucher I won at golf, the bill was only an additional €30, which was good value.

Well, that's it.
