Beer Saturday
I did a review on this one recently, so I'll include some details from that review here too.
I fancied a few beers this evening and these ones won out. They are crisp. They are tasty. They are hoppy. They are right up my street.
We had a joint birthday party today for our two eldest sons (aged almost 6 and 9) We decided to have it at the house and rented a 42 foot bouncy castle which went down a treat with all the kids and even some adults later in the evening myself included!
How Many?
How many kids I hear you ask?
10?
20?
More!!
30?
Almost!!! We had 26 kids all 9 and under to feed, sugar and entertain. Saying it outloud sounds mad, but it actually went really well and our sons had one of their best parties ever, so that's what really matters.
It was a 2pm to 6pm party, so once all of the kids were collected and got their party bags, we cracked a few drinks. My wife opted for a few glasses of Pinot Grigio and I had a few of these Hazy Little things and they really hit the spot 👌
Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA
What they say
"Making our delicious haze starts before we even fire up the kettle. Oats and wheat—both malted and unmalted varieties—are critical to the recipe, down to their exact makeup of proteins, beta-glucans, diastatic power, and other beer-nerdy specs. Once we’re brewing, this precise grain foundation interacts with the polyphenols (think pre-haze molecules) in colossal volumes of lupulin hop dust, which is basically the pure flavor from inside hop cones, to generate a smooth and juicy haze. We chill our fermenters at slightly higher temperatures than normal so the haze doesn’t fade, then we skip the filter to package all the hazy flavor in its prime—straight from the tanks and into the can."
Beer Art
I like the art here, funky and fun is how I'd describe it.

Thoughts
This one poured a really hazy off yellow and had a serious amount of hoppiness going on and really hit the spot. You could easily drink a bunch of these bad boys.
