I hope this weekend is treating you well, and I hope you are celebrating your Caturday in fine fashion! Yes, it's my favorite day of the week again and time to bring out those cute cat photos and share!

We're having another lovely summer day with a gentle breeze coming through the open windows and the doors are open to the screens.

I do love laying in the fresh air by the screen door, taking naps and sniffing the air!

The Hoomans are taking a rare "day off" today, which means I've been able to spend part of the day sitting in the Mom-Hooman's lap while she was watching TV. That's almost as good as lying in front of the open door!

Then I went and reminded the dad human that it was time for him to help me create my Caturday post! This is important cat business, you know?

Crypto Sunrise, at Last?

Meanwhile, I'm feeling in a mildly celebratory mood as a result of the crypto markets looking a little bit better for a change!

Even if you're not an active trader — that would be me — it does wear on you after a while when all that ever seems to come up is a steady downtrend and bad news in some form or another.

Of course, it's very early days yet, and summertime is often not a good time for the markets... but this does mark the first time in a really long time that the price of our Hive token has gone up and actually held on to its gain for several days in a row.

Interesting how a protracted bear Market can lower your expectations to where you're grateful for almost nothing on the positive side!

I'm curious to see whether this uptrend is going to hold in the longer term, and then whether a consistently higher price of Hive also results in an increased activity level in our community. Seems like we have a lot of "fairweather friends" who are very busy posting and interacting when the going is good and then vanish into the woodwork as soon as things are a bit sour.

I'm just grateful to be part of all of this... so I'm here and will do my bit regardless of whether things are up or down!

Meanwhile, my fuzzy roommate smudge is doing well and she sends her best regards, although she was a rather busy napping in the sun and didn't really have a comment for this Caturday post!
