RE: Hello Gamers, I Am Coool Dude.

I'm an idiot because I don't knot it yet? I can see who the real idiot is.
If I get downvoted for no reason, I won't spend time here. But I'm not going to blurt to spend time for dust = blurt price.
Good luck, idiot.

And here I'm earning something that's better than your dust token. I still didn't get downvoted, btw. If I do, I'll still not think of joining blurt just to waste time. Bye bye buddy idiot.

The people who make the most noise about the evils of downvotes are the ones who get downvoted for spam, plagiarism, and other nuisance behavior. I suspect (but cannot prove, and don't really care to try) that the myriad accounts shilling for BLURT are run by the same troll.

Anyway, a belated welcome.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm glad to be here and contributing properly. I'm focused on quality rather than noise and enjoying so far.

I got comments from an idiot who suggested me to move to blurt while he run his hive account to leave the suggestions, lol.

Yup. I found your post because I was following the trail of spam. The people shouting loudest about the alleged virtues of Blurt sure spend a lot of time and effort here. It's almost like this is where the real community is. How much have you explored the sordid history of Steemit and its splintering into Hive, Blurt, etc?

I didn't explore a lot but, I did much to learn about both steemit and blurt, and these boring scammers.

someone definitely got mad, though I'm not sure how this helps them. They're just too boring.

Short version: Dan and Ned built Steemit as a censorship-resistant platform, but there was a big pre-mined pool of tokens. It was promised this stake would not be used to control the community. A few years later, Steemit and the ninja-mined stake were sold to Justin Sun. The witnesses moved to prevent that stake from being used for governance. Sun responded by creating sock puppet accounts and establishing them as witnesses with the ninja-mined stake, changing the site terms of service, and even altering the blockchain.

HIVE forked out with many of the original Steemit witnesses and independent developers, and most of the active community followed. Blurt also forked from Steemit with the goal of removing flags/downvotes as a feature. So Steemit remains, Hive thrives, and Blurt... Well, it exists, and a couple trolls spam us to advertise it, but I don't think the people running Blurt are involved in their spam here.

I was part of a small independent moderation project on Steemit, mainly flagging (downvoting) spam and plagiarism by bad actors then. Same here, to a lesser degree. It made some enemies who frame me as the bad guy. As the spammers say, data is king. You can see who I vote for, what I have said in comments, and so on if you care to investigate. I doubt you'll need to dig much, considering the level of spam you already see in your own posts. You can mute or even blacklist spamers, and their comments will be hidden from you for the most part.

Thanks for the short explanation, rang a bell.
Anyway, this kgakakillerg guy is f*** retard, or should I mention a troll? He targeted me, I guess. Dude is replying to my long back comments as well, lol.
I muted him, how do I blacklist him? Is there a way that I won't see them in the notification bar as well?
