It reminds me a bit of New York where you have these green spaces that are a stark contrast to the rest of the city. It also reminds me of many of the small towns I have visited in my life where they have a central town square that often has a lot of greenery surrounded by the rest of the city.

It really sometimes feels like those greens spaces are just a little bit token though...
They are completely surrounded by large buildings... and when you are in them, you are still able to see and hear the surrounding city and traffic. This one in particular, not large enough... and I wonder if it is just not worth the "lost economic" cost of the land going to non-commercial use.
