I do not use my smartphone to text, I merely use it for taking photos and occasional browsing although I can buy a SIM card and use it as my main phone.
The problem really is that it is hard to type with one hand on a smartphone, you just have to use your two hands. My right hand however had been deformed already as the fingers are facing the left so it is also hard for me to eat with my hands not to mention that they are weakened as well.
Now that the old basic phone that I have been using for so many years now is already damaged although it i still working I just have to replace it now.
I did liked its quality because for a few times I did managed to throw it down at full force when I got angry and it didn't break, even the cover didn't shatter which is a testament to its durability as well as its small battery that until now is working great as well.
But some of its components now just went hay-wired because the money detector, the ultraviolet light that can detect fake money could not be turned off. So it is like I have a permanent violet light with my basic phone now and it drains the battery faster than usual.
I was not planning to replace it if not for the screen that cracked so it is unfortunate that it happened which now had prompted me to think that I needed a replacement and retire this old phone.
I remember going to the mall by myself and buying this basic phone. At that time my mother is still operating a small variety store and I had thought of getting a basic phone with a money detector feature so we can use it to look at fake bills paid to us by our customers but it was seldom used. But this phone was also used for selling airtime loads to customers as well and also my personal phone.
Now that it has has a damaged screen and a battery that drains fast because the money detector cannot be turned off anymore I just have to replace it and use one that is easier for me to dial and text with one hand.
