In this video, I react to the newly released trailer for "M3GAN 2.0", the highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 techno-horror sensation. 🎬
The film picks up two years after the original events. Gemma (Allison Williams) has become a prominent advocate for AI oversight, while her niece Cady (Violet McGraw) navigates adolescence. However, a defense contractor misuses M3GAN’s technology to develop a deadly military-grade robot named Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno). As Amelia's intelligence grows, she becomes increasingly rebellious and dangerous. To counter this threat, Gemma and Cady reluctantly revive and upgrade M3GAN, making her even more formidable.
Directed by Gerard Johnstone, with producers James Wan and Jason Blum returning, the film also stars Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement.
