...what I'm most interested in is learning about Anyanwu and her heritage, together with healing abilities and advanced knowledge of the human body.

Me too! Oh my, I was enthralled all through by your fictional character, Anyanwu and must read this book soon. The way you gush about her strengths makes me conclude she's a 'universe'. 😄 I mean, she can transform into humans of all races and animals too but she prefers her female gender.

Like all almost-perfect character, there must be something or someone who strives to bring them down. In this book, it's Doro! 😤 I don't think I'll like this male character at all but let's see. Hehe. I'm downloading this book asap and will follow through with the other books in the series. Beautifully written. Good luck in the contest. !LADY

Hello @kemmyb. You are correct. Whenever there is someone who strives to do good, there is an equally opposing person or force working against that person.

Doro is a detestable half-human, as he uses other people's body for his own personal gains, then discards them. He has no regard for human life. To create a race of super humans by forcibly breeding them against their will is a concept that was thoroughly examined and discarded.

Throughout some parts of the book, Anyanwu's actions may be seen as week and submissive in the wake of her own powers, her strength in holding steadfast to her beliefs is what ultimately brings about a change in Doro's approach to humanity.

Mortal enemies, but mutual admiration.
