RE: a persimmon shadow!

Wonderful use of complimentary colors to bring out the persimmony shadow! Good luck in the Shadow Hunters Contest! @qwerrie

Can't say that I've ever tasted a persimmon before but enjoyed this description:

"Persimmons taste like no other fruit. They have a silky, slippery texture and taste kind of like the fabulous fruity love child of a mango and a roasted sweet pepper, with some cinnamon in the background. They are rich and tangy and sweet, all at the same time."

Nina, thankyou a lot for the compliment.

wow, how happened you really did not test it even once? they arent that rare (me thinks) ?.. tho it is a seasonal fruit, indeed, and when they aer matured, they can not be kept for long, unlike bananas or apples... well, the taste is indeed quite unique... but for me it is too much tannin (which I have idiosyncrasy to). Personally, I adore their visual side most. I really wish you will meet and taste it one day!
