Market Day, 5,000-Step Walk, and a Highly Anticipated Toy Delivery

in Daily Blog21 hours ago (edited)

Yesterday, a lot of things happened and it was quite pleasant.

First was the routine weekly market visit. I always enjoy seeing fresh fish and other seafood; they never fail to amaze me. I love seeing fresh fish.

Out of all these, the tilapia were the only ones still breathing. So sad seeing them gasping for breath and slowly dying.

After buying everything we needed, it was time to take a walk. This time, I just went around the village and not outside at the Arca South compound. This was because the village is a lot less noisy with much fewer vehicles. The headphones I bought are easily overwhelmed and outmatched by these vehicles, especially the motorcycle riders who purposely make their engines unnecessarily noisy.

Below are views of the peaceful village during my walk. I could really learn to love this activity.

I also bought a tray of eggs because the market's egg seller did not go to work that day. I went to the village stores, at least four of which sold eggs.

This store especially made me smile. I kept wondering what F.Y.S.M. means, and the meaning I came up with was a bit amusing.

This was my walking achievement for the day. I am still keeping things easy and not cranking up my walk to 10,000 steps. This time, however, there was no dizziness anymore. I felt rejuvenated, and more importantly, I felt really good afterwards.

I also wrapped up my walk a bit earlier when I learned that the local courier is currently setting out to deliver one of my most anticipated action figures of this year!

True enough, it arrived! This is Zelda from Figma.

Figma is quite a pricey brand, but I just couldn't resist not buying my favorite Legend of Zelda characters.

The item came from Japan and there was a thank you note, instant green tea with matcha, and a small origami. Thank you seller!

I got this figure as a P.O. (pre-order) a year in advance, and already prepared the budget for it long ago. I had to get this since the previous Zelda release currently has a very exorbitant price. Pure highway robbery. At least with the P.O. price of the current release, things are reasonable. I also expect this version to shoot up in price in the future.

Here, Zelda Figma is with Zelda from Jaxx Pacific, a much cheaper figure.

Here, Zelda is finally reunited with Link also from Figma. Link was sooo expensive because he has many accessories and features. Zelda, in contrast, have significantly fewer accessories.

This day was really fulfilling, and it made me feel worthy, accomplished, and happy. So glad to be alive!
