This work is the result of a one-hour drawing practice using Photoshop, the exercise was quite simple and is very popular on social networks, known as “Pinterest decides my drawing,” it consists of choosing three or four general ideas, searching the phrase or word on Pinterest, and keeping only the first photograph of each search, in my case the words/concepts searched were: animal, plant, object, and person, after selecting the first photos of each idea, the challenge is to create a composition with these elements, I invite you to join me step by step until the final result.
Esta obra es el resultado de una práctica de dibujo durante una hora utilizando Photoshop, el ejercicio fue bastante simple y es bastante popular en redes, conocido como “Pinterest decide mi dibujo”, se basa en escoger tres o cuatro ideas generales y buscar en Pinterest la frase o palabra, quedándose solamente con la primera fotografía de cada búsqueda, en mi caso las palabras/conceptos buscados fueron: animal, planta, objeto y persona, después de seleccionadas las primeras fotos de cada idea el reto es crear una composición con estos elementos, los invito a acompañarme en el paso a paso hasta el resultado final.

For the word person I got a photograph of a portrait of a girl with a white shirt, tie, and messy hair, I quickly made a sketch and this was the result, I think my synthesis and anatomy skills have improved somewhat in the last month.
Para la palabra persona me tocó una fotografía de un retrato de una chica con camisa blanca, corbata y cabello alborotado, rápidamente hice un boceto y este fue el resultado, creo que mi poder de síntesis y anatomía ha mejorado algo en el último mes.
The first animal that appeared in my Pinterest search was an owl, I love drawing owls and birds in general, and I really liked how this drawing turned out and the speed and fluency with which I drew it in just a few lines.
El primer animal que salió en mi Pinterest fue una lechuza, me encanta dibujar lechuzas y aves en general, y me gustó mucho cómo quedó este dibujo y la velocidad y soltura con la que lo dibujé en solo unas pocas líneas.
This is how the integration of the person and the owl turned out, resting on the shoulder, it reminds me a lot of the ancient symbols of wisdom and intelligence, like the statues of Athena.
Así quedó la integración de la persona y la lechuza juntas, descansando en el hombro, me recuerda mucho a los símbolos antiguos de sabiduría e inteligencia, como las estatuas de Atenea.
The next thing I drew were the flowers, I do not know the name of the flowers that Pinterest offered me as the first image, but they are flowers that grow on long branches and are simple, with oval petals and red color, I simply drew them just as in the reference.
Lo siguiente que dibujé fueron las flores, no conozco el nombre de las flores que Pinterest me ofreció como primera imagen, pero son unas flores que crecen en ramas largas y son simples, de pétalos ovales y de color rojo, simplemente las dibujé tal cual la referencia.
This is how the whole composition of my drawing is turning out, person, animal, and plant, only the object remains.
Así va quedando toda la composición de mi dibujo, persona, animal y planta, solo queda el objeto.
The first object that Pinterest showed me was an old rusty key, and I think it goes great with the elements I have so far in my drawing, I simply drew the key just as in the reference, but in a position that closed together with the long-stemmed flower the framing of the composition, so that flower and key delimit the space of my characters, the girl and the bird.
El primer objeto que me mostró Pinterest fue una llave antigua oxidada, y creo que va genial con los elementos que hasta ahora tengo en mi dibujo, simplemente dibujé la llave tal cual, pero en una posición que cerrara junto a la flor de tallo largo el encuadre de la composición, que flor y llave delimiten el espacio de mis personajes, la chica y el ave.
With all the elements in place only the coloring of my drawing remains, I was undecided whether to apply colors or not, but since this is a practice and a study we are going to take it to the last part, for coloring I simply tried to apply lights and shadows in grayscale and added a gradient to obtain these ochre and brown tones, I liked the result quite a lot and I am quite satisfied for a one-hour practice, besides I felt very comfortable with the drawing program, thank you for accompanying me one more day drawing.
Con todos los elementos en su sitio solo queda colorear mi dibujo, estaba indeciso si aplicar colores o no, pero ya que esto es una práctica y un estudio vamos a llevarlo hasta la última parte, para colorear simplemente traté de aplicar luces y sombras en escala de grises y agregué un degradado para obtener estos tonos ocres y cafés, me gustó bastante el resultado y estoy bastante satisfecho para una práctica de una hora, además me sentí muy cómodo con el programa de dibujo, gracias por acompañarme un día más dibujando.
