African parents are so used to training their children in a manner of beating, they start to panel beat their children, which is literally wrong, like you rightly said, they start to fear their parents, as soon as they realize that they have done something wrong and will definitely piss their parent off, they summon fear and will start imagining the way they are going to be dead so when their parent finds out, which will make them look for excuses which can even prompt lies...

Sometimes, our parents yes their hands to spoil their children unconsciously...
