Neoxian City - Prompt #8: If you could share a day with anyone in the world – who would you choose and why?
To be honest, there are a lot of people in the world who I want to share a day with... people who I miss and know in real life, people who I met online and want to meet in person, people who are no longer here and people who I admire.
If I were to follow my heart, I'd say that I'd love to share a day with TEGOSHI YUYA.
This is the only possible way to take a photo together... at least for now. haha
TEGOSHI YUYA is a former member of my favorite Japanese idol group called NEWS. He left the group around two years ago and has started his solo career as a singer and YouTuber.
You may have noticed that my username is similar to his family name. Well, that's because I got this username by combining the 'Tego' in his family name and the 'Shei' in my real name. Thus, "Tegoshei". I started using this virtual name since I became his fan around December of 2009.
Now, why did I choose him?
Aside from the fact that I have been his fan for almost 15 years, I'd like to actually thank him for being a great motivation for me to move forward with life. The year 2009 was one of the darkest years in my life and when I found him online, everything became brighter again.
He and NEWS (his former group) became my healing as I was quite depressed that time. Their songs, concert videos, backstage documentaries somehow inspired me and gave me hope. So, if I were to meet him, I'd like to personally say "Thank you for being with me during those crazy times in my life!"
I might seem shallow for wanting to spend a day with my favorite singer, but this would truly mean a lot to me. It's sad that I won't be seeing his concert together with his former group, but I'm not closing the possibility of watching him perform live as a solo artist someday.

I was actually worried when he left his previous group because I thought I won't be able to listen to his music again... but a few months after that, he released his own songs on YouTube and other music streaming platforms.
He is my favorite singer of all time and I don't think that would ever change!!!
There are a lot of things that we could do together if ever we meet in person. These are just simple things but I'd like to do these with him.
- Go to karaoke together. Since he's my favorite singer, it would be awesome to sing together. I don't have a great voice, but it's at least decent. haha And I'd love to sing a TegoMasu song with him. <3
- Play video/mobile games together. He's a gamer and he also has a gaming channel. I also enjoy playing mobile games. I'm not that good at FPS type of games, but we can do it together. I hope he plays some MOBA games with me, too.
- Go for a walk with dogs. He has two dogs with him now, Tiffa and Emma. They're both toy poodles just like my furbaby, Arashi. :)
Of course, the usual things like having a meal together and talking a lot would be a part of it. I'd like to ask him a bunch of questions. He's a very optimistic person and don't really mind what other people think about him. I guess it's quite rare for celebrities as most of them want to have a great public image. He does what wants. I remember him describing himself in three words: ばか (idiot), わがまま (selfish) and サッカー *(soccer). I laughed because these three words REALLY DO describe him! xD
Apart from working and doing his hobbies, he's also very active in volunteer and charity works. So I want to know his future plans regarding these things as well. It would be awesome to be of some help, too. :)

I always end up writing/talking a lot when it comes to him. But really, I fell in love the first time I heard his singing voice.

It was this song... but he sang it live in one of their concerts. :) Ahhhh~ Now I feel like watching their concert DVDs again, but I think I'd end up crying seeing them... so maybe next time?
