I just finished a 25.217km bike ride that lasted about 1hh:09mm:03ss !
Well, it was Saturday, but I just got around posting it.

Since I am still trying to be more gentle with my ankle (my appointment with the specialist is tomorrow), I went for a bike ride again, instead of running (there were plenty of walking/hiking too this week end, so it was a nice change).
I started late as usual, and the nice sun from earlier in the afternoon was pretty much gone, and menacing dark clouds were forming. Once again, I didn't plan the route, just decided as I went. And of course, that means I got lost! I ended up at this high school that I don't remember seeing in the past. That's one more option for intervals running on the track, whenever I can do that again.

After many turns, I finally ended up with familiars streets and intersections. I rode the same path I like to finish my rides with. Like mentioned in the past, it goes through part of the university campus, along the highway, and past the football field. It's a great way to finish a ride with a bit more speed. Except this time I kind of felt I had no fuel left in the tank, and it wasn't that much faster. However, the average pace at almost 22km/h isn't bad at all considering how windy it was, and of course my old heavy bike.

Nice ride to keep some fitness without putting too much strain on my ankle. Depending on what the doc says tomorrow, I might do that again soon, and maybe start including some easy running as well.
Keep Exhausting!
