It is time for my weekly Rising Star update.
Status
I was working hard towards reaching level 75 to be able to start unlocking and creating my band. I was forgoing earnings in favor of music lessons (and some Mall gigs) for most of the week and managed to climb 5 and a half levels. I purchased two 10 EXP cards to help speed up the process and it has really done so. Now each music lesson is over 300 exp each.
I went up nearly 70 spots in the ranking, mainly due to playing a lot more minutes. This is my highest ranking to date. I will probably pop up higher soon as I start opening packs.
Strategy
So my playing strategy is going to change. I had been pushing hard to get to level 75, but having heard it could take 40+ missions to get my band even once I've unlocked it, I'm thinking I may just take my time and just try and earn more starbits by doing the Local Mini Tour on repeat. It has been paying nicely with just 3 missions per day. Throw in a lesson and the millionaire mission and that is a pretty good day.
Goal To Be A Millionaire Achieved
I am excited to have achieved my goal, and am now a Starbits millionaire! I have already ran 5 or so Millionaire missions. I plan to use the earnings to pay back some of the tokens I sold to get to a million, and then plan to start buying packs.
