I have suffered this problem, and spent some hours with @gadrian yesterday seeking resolution. As best I understand this is a Steemconnect issue. Hope you get it solved.

        thanks! yes in the end it worked fine on Steemit.com to create them, then it OK on Steempeak.. no idea why it wouldnt work for me on Steempeak.. im on a mac. maybe something to do with it who knows!
